APPLE DERRIERES
A Drag Queen with a vagina, although no, you won’t see it, Clive. She is an advocate for positive body representation, binning boobie jokes, celebrating vaginas and pioneering period power for all.
She is known for producing and hosting internationally renowned Drag King Cabaret show BOiBOX for almost a decade abreast her on and off-stage spouse, the irritatingly more famous and iconic, Adam All who she performs with across the Cabaret world. Apple has performed internationally in her glittering cabaret career from Ted Talks to Pride stages, from The Royal Opera House to SHE Soho where she hosts the always trending Lesbian karaoke where everyone gets to be a Lesbian because lesbians are cool. Not only a lesbian but a thespian, Apple was superswing in ‘Death Drop’ on the Westend, covering every single role, Drag Kings and Drag Queens alike. She’s thrilled to be back in Folkestone for Punk&Plume’s – Kings Queens & Inbetweens.
ADAM ALL
Adam has been performing as a Drag King for over 12 years and has been instrumental in the growth of the Drag King scene in the UK.
He is the first winner of Pride in London’s ‘Prides Got Talent Cabaret’ and the first ever winner of ‘Best Drag King’ at the 2019 QX Cabaret Awards. Adam was recently referred to as the modern ‘Godfather’ of the Drag King scene in the UK’ and one of the ‘game changers of the London Drag Scene’ in TimeOut Magazine.
Adam recently featured as a speaker for TEDxLondon and TEDxWomen, in national campaigns for Method and ASOS and has featured on ‘This Morning’ for ITV, BBC Newsbeat, London Live and Sky, Channel 4 and ITV News. Adam All is the founder and host of popular Drag King Cabaret night BOiBOX and co-host of the smash-hit Drag King Competition MAN UP! Adam performs internationally and is a huge advocate of the emerging, engaging and empowering Drag King scene. He is a gentle man, can charm and alarm with equal appeal, bringing live vocals and cartoon realness to his dashing geek-chic cabaret. FEVER DREAM
The trippy avant-garde mixed race trans drag artist from Folkestone, Kent.
Original from south London, Fever Dream is the darkly comedic alter ego Ilā Kamalagharan – best known as the co-founder of London contemporary voices and Trans Voices, the UK’s first ever professional Trans+ choir – launching with a Guardian Films documentary and recently appearing alongside Jean Paul Gaultier’s Fashion Freak Show at The Roundhouse as part of Beyond and Between. Being a choir leader, and having worked as a vocalist with over 20 Grammy winning artists – it should be no surprise that the bitch can sing!
Though she’s no stranger to drag, Ilā introduced her drag persona Fever Dream to the world for the first time at Folkestone Pride 2022 and has since gone on to perform at Punk and Plume, Salty Cabaret and pride events across the South East.

“Be careful what you wish for” seems to be the ongoing theme in Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s Brothers Grimm inspired musical Into the Woods.
Our fabulous FHODS Youth Section, previously bringing you the classic Bugsy Malone, are delighted to present the Broadway version of Into the Woods by Stephen Sondheim.
The story follows the Baker and his wife who wish to have a child, Cinderella who wishes to go to the King’s Festival, and Jack who wishes his cow would give some milk. When the Baker and his wife are visited by the neighbourhood witch, who reveals to them that she placed a curse on their family, the two set off on a journey into the woods to reverse the curse.
Also in the woods, we meet Little Red, who is trying to visit her grandmother, the Wolf who loves tasty little girls, the Witch’s daughter Rapunzel, and the Princes chasing after their loves.
By the end of Act I, everyone has gotten their wish and will seemingly live happily ever after, but in Act II, when Jack’s beanstalk brings them a visit from an angry Giant, we see how the consequences of their actions haunt them in disastrous ways. The community must come together to save each other and their kingdom, but sacrifices must be made.
Recently made into a film by Disney, this Broadway version brings even more twists along the way, more songs and a lot more humour!
You won’t want to miss this classic musical, originally performed by a fantastic cast, including Bernadette Peters and Joanna Gleason, brought to life at The Tower Theatre, by our incredibly talented Youth Section.

FHODS is pleased to announce that the shop doors will soon open on a new production of Hobson’s Choice, the well-loved, classic northern comedy.
Henry Hobson runs a shoe business in Salford, Greater Manchester. A widower with three daughters, he is overbearing, controlling, and a drunk.
When his eldest daughter, Maggie – the real driving force behind the success of the business – announces her intentions to marry Willie Mossop, one of his most skilled employees, Hobson is astounded…
Originally set in 1880, Hobson’s Choice is a comic exploration of the changing status and expectations of women at a time when society was about to shift dramatically.
However, to present a fresh view of the play and make it more relevant to a modern audience, we are resetting to 1966, another period of significant social change, especially for women, which sowed the seeds of women’s lib and the feminist movement. It was also the year of Bob Dylan playing at the Manchester Free Trade Hall, the BBC began broadcasting in colour, and when England won the World Cup.
And so, under such auspicious circumstances, our story will unfold…
