Event Details

FHODS are delighted to bring the BBC’s classic comedy ‘Blackadder Goes Forth’, written by Richard Curtis and Ben Elton, to The Tower Theatre this November.

It’s 1917 and Blackadder is a captain in the British Army on the Western Front during the First World War. Whilst commanding the brave-but-dumb Lieutenant George St. Barleigh and the even dumber Private Baldrick, they wait in fear for the dreaded order to go ‘over the top’ from the clearly ludicrous General Melchett.

Throughout this time, Blackadder devises numerous schemes to escape the trenches, always with the offer of one of Baldrick’s ‘cunning plans’. Will he escape, or will Field Marshal Haig succeed in his effort to move his drinks cabinet six inches closer to Berlin?
