MARTIN  DALE – Here is a name from the past.  This former Royal Marine was based at Deal and then moved back to his home town Plymouth.  This might turn out to be not only a Jazz reunion, but also a ROYAL MARINE REUNION.  Remember him as a top tenor man playing at Mike & Wendy Porter Wards Old School House Jazz at Teynham – great times & great jazz.

Martin was with the best in jazz that were based in Kent i.e. Johnny Burch & Dick Morrissey, (sadly no longer with us) to name just two of the galaxy of jazz men in Kent at the time, and we are pleased to still have some of the best in jazz in our county and the southeast.

Martin moved back to Plymouth and is definitely the sax star of the West, where he runs his own modern jazz outfits and combines a lot with Exeter based award winning pianist CRAIG MILVERTON a regular at The FJC for many years.
