The Marc Cecil Quintet will take you on a journey around the World of Jazz, which includes the Swing of New York, the Salsa of Cuba and the Samba of Brazil, all linked together with some jazz standards and exciting new arrangements that are loosely based around the library of Dizzy Gillespie.

Marc Cecil – leader and drums. A brilliant drummer, arranger and composer
Shanti Jayasinha – trumpet and flugel. This young man has become a massive hit on the London jazz scene.
James Arben – saxes. This guy was such a hit with the FJC and was rated by the people that ‘know’ as the most underrated sax man
on the British Jazz Scene.
Dan Banks – piano. Great pianist from The Peoples Republic of Medway, and now residing in the county town. Dan has his own jazz outfit & is making
a big name for himself on the other side of the Thames
Dominic Howles – double bass. Great bassist
