Vasilis Xenopoulos is now one of Europe’s finest saxophonists, and a great favourite at The FJC and wherever he appears he brings great music, plus his charismatic Greek charm.

Tonight he celebrates the music & spirit of the great American sax man Dexter Gordon, with classic jazz standards & a couple of originals in the Dexter style.  I know that Vasilis has been a long time admirer Dexter Gordon, one of the most iconic figures in jazz history.
