Tower Theatre – latest update

On behalf of everyone at The Tower Theatre, we hope you’re all keeping well.

Whilst we remain closed in line with government guidelines, volunteer members of FHODS are working hard in the background on plans for the eventual reopening of our theatre and to ensure its survival during these unprecedented times.

Like all theatres, we’re conscious that social distancing may prevent us returning to normal performances and audiences anytime soon. Therefore, we’re planning a new calendar of plays and shows that could be performed by a socially distanced cast in front of a socially distanced audience, in the event that this could be become a possibility.

Any re-opening of the theatre will of course follow all UK government guidelines and restrictions at that time.

We’re sure you’ve missed live theatre and music as much as we have and we’ll keep you updated with news of upcoming productions as things progress, as well as details of shows that have had to be re-scheduled due to the theatre closure.

If you have purchased tickets to forthcoming shows that have been postponed; we will be scheduling new dates for as many of the performances as we can, and any tickets already sold will be transferable to the new dates.

We will be following legal guidelines for refunds, however, please remember those ticket sales are our main source of income so if you can attend the rescheduled dates, please retain your tickets or consider donating the fee to help support us.

The onsite box office continue to  be closed to the public, however you can email us at office@towertheatrefolkestone.co.uk. We appreciate your patience as we manage the administration of the closure and reopening of the theatre, and we really can’t thank you all enough for your support and kind words.

Take care and we hope to see you all again very soon.
